ABOUT THE LAPEER DOG PARK
The Lapeer Dog Park will be a park for dogs to exercise and play off-leash in a controlled environment under the supervision of their owners.
The park is a community funded project with the City of Lapeer performing in-kind services and leading the design and construction of the park. The park will be maintained long-term by the City of Lapeer Parks Department.
There will be no fee to use the dog park.

The Lapeer Dog Park will be a great place for dogs and their owners, and a unique addition to the city park system and historic downtown Lapeer. We envision the park being used by pet owners, 4-H groups, etc.
The Lapeer Dog Park will be located at Rotary Park, along the eastern border of downtown Lapeer off of Nepessing Street.
Rotary Park is a 7 acre park featuring a pavilion, two horseshoe courts, a playground with safety surfacing, an asphalt pathway along the river and on the abandoned railroad property, two pedestrian bridges, a pedestrian stairway, and paved parking lot. Portable toilets are available year-round.
